Bridges Revisited

The wife and I went to many iron bridge locations for about 3 years in 1968-70. That was until the children started to come and the wife got tired of the dust and dirt.  She impressed on me that I had more important things to do than to chase bridge signs. Well, I’m retired now and would like to re-visit some of the bridge sites to see if they are still there. Most of the bridges have been replaced by concrete designs. The wife still has other interests so my expeditions this year and beyond may be rather infrequent - and by myself!

I describe one such trip under “King Gone” in the King Bridge section where I went to a group of six King Iron Company bridges and found out that two were left but abandoned.
