Clinton Bridge and Iron Works
in Clinton, IL

The following pictured bridges and their respective bridge signs were located in Knox, Warren, Livingston, Marshall counties repectively in Central Illinois in 1968. Other bridges were located in Peoria and Mercer counties.

The curved edge signs are made of cast iron and are 11 1/2” X 13 1/2” in size.

The ornate script signs above
 were cast in brass. 4” X 6 1/2”

Mr. Coulter - your request was forwarded to me via City Hall. A search of township and city histories back through the 1870's turned up no results. Our newspapers are on microfilm but are not indexed by subject.
