Other Bridge Makers
and their bridge signs

The “Iron Bridges” section covers the bridge manufacturers for which I have a representative bridge sign.

This section is for bridges for which I do not have an actual sign. The photos and stories are collected from various sources, and show the bridge sign location and a close-up of the sign if possible.

“A. Y. Bayne” shows a sign from the Dump Road Bridge from the records of the Minnesota Historical Society.

“Berlin” has three different bridges described.

Columbia Bridge Works describes the rescue of the open letter bridge manufacturer’s sign from a junkyard in Indiana.. The great-great granddaughter of the founder and owner of Columbia Bridge Works has provided a company history.Columbia Bridge Works

“Dean and Westbrook” describes an eyebar chain suspension bridge.

“New Jersey Bridge” describes a bridge over the Delaware River.

“Phoenix Bridge” describes a multiple span bridge over the Delaware River.

Others will be added as I run across them.
